Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls

The Attraction Overview

Themed to the classic Dudley Do-Right cartoon, this Mack Rides log flume follows Dudley's chase to save Nell from the villainous Snidely Whiplash, building through rustic sawmill scenery to a climactic 75-foot plunge at a steep 50-degree angle.

It's consistently ranked among the most soaking log flumes in the industry — the front seats in particular can expect a serious drenching on the way down.

The Story

Ripsaw Falls opened with the park on May 28, 1999, and remains one of Islands of Adventure's original Toon Lagoon attractions, largely unchanged in layout since debut.

Before the Clock Strikes

  • Ride toward the end of your day if you don't want to walk around soaked, or bring a poncho and dry bag for belongings.
  • A single rider line is typically available and moves quickly.
  • The back seat generally stays a bit drier than the front — useful if you're trying to protect a phone or camera.
  • If you're stacking up Toon Lagoon's water rides, this one hits harder and wetter than Popeye & Bluto's Bilge-Rat Barges next door.
