The Attraction Overview

Trolls Trollercoaster is a family-friendly coaster themed to the Trolls film franchise, seating riders aboard the Caterbus as it winds through gentle twists, turns, and small drops while escaping animatronic spiders. It's designed as an entry-level coaster experience, gentle enough for guests who aren't ready for the park's bigger launch coasters.

The ride repurposes the track layout of the former Woody Woodpecker's Nuthouse Coaster, re-themed and re-imagined with new show scenes and the colorful Trolls aesthetic for its new home in DreamWorks Land.

The Story

Trolls Trollercoaster opened on June 14, 2024, as one of the debut attractions of DreamWorks Land, the new area built around the Shrek, Trolls, and Kung Fu Panda franchises at Universal Studios Florida.

Before the Clock Strikes

• This is a great first coaster for younger kids stepping up from kiddie rides but not yet ready for Revenge of the Mummy or Escape from Gringotts.
• Express Pass access is available, which can be worth using during DreamWorks Land's busier midday stretches.
• There's no single-rider line, as it's built for families and small groups riding together.
• Combine it with the rest of DreamWorks Land's offerings, like Shrek's Swamp and the DreamWorks Imagination Celebration show, for a full themed-land visit.
