Yoshi's Adventure

The Attraction Overview

Yoshi's Adventure is Super Nintendo World's gentle, family-friendly counterpart to Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge. Guests ride in individual Yoshi-shaped vehicles that wind through Mushroom Kingdom scenery — including Yoshi's Island, Chain Chomp fields, and Toad's farmland — on a five-minute hunt for glowing eggs hidden throughout the scenes.

Its interactive hook is a lap-bar button that riders press each time they spot an egg, racking up points that sync to a Power-Up Band if the rider is wearing one. It leans more toward whimsical and colorful than dark or scary, though a few sudden turns, stops, and strobe moments give it a touch more energy than a typical kiddie ride.

The Story

Yoshi's Adventure opened with Epic Universe on May 22, 2025, joining the existing Yoshi's Adventure attractions at Super Nintendo World in Universal Studios Japan and Universal Studios Hollywood, though the Orlando version has its own scenic layout within the larger Epic Universe Super Nintendo World footprint.

Before the Clock Strikes

  • There's no single-rider line here, so factor that into touring plans if you're solo and trying to save time elsewhere in Super Nintendo World.
  • It's one of the lowest height requirements in the entire park at 34 inches, making it a go-to first 'real ride' for younger kids.
  • Bring or buy a Power-Up Band before riding if you want the egg-hunting minigame to actually register points — otherwise it's still fun, just without the interactive payoff.
  • It's slow, sweet, and scenic rather than thrilling, making it a good cooldown ride between Mine-Cart Madness and Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge.
