Grilled Three-Cheese Sandwich
Inspired by Woody's Lunch Box, Toy Story Land
The grown-up grilled cheese with a secret: cream cheese spread inside and garlic butter outside.
Ingredients
- 8 thick slices sourdough or French bread
- 8 slices cheddar cheese
- 8 slices provolone
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 4 tbsp butter, softened
- 1 clove garlic, grated
Method
- Mix the butter with the grated garlic and spread on the outside of every slice.
- Spread cream cheese on the inside of each sandwich and layer with cheddar and provolone.
- Griddle over medium heat, pressing gently, until deep golden on both sides and molten inside.
- Slice diagonally — it eats better that way, this is science.
