Disney's All-Star Movies Resort

The Resort Overview

Disney's All-Star Movies Resort is the last of the three All-Star Resorts to open, and it wears its theming loudest: three-story-tall icons from Fantasia, 101 Dalmatians, Toy Story, The Love Bug, and The Mighty Ducks anchor the guest room buildings, turning ordinary parking-lot views into genuine photo-ops.

The centerpiece is a giant Sorcerer Mickey, hat raised and cape flowing, presiding over the Fantasia Pool near the food court and lobby — widely considered the most photogenic spot at any All-Star resort.

Dining & Amenities

The World Premiere Food Court is a counter-service spot serving pizza, burgers, pasta, and grab-and-go items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There's no table-service restaurant on site.

Two pools serve the resort: the large Fantasia Pool near the lobby, themed to Sorcerer Mickey with fountain jets, and the smaller Duck Pond pool in the Mighty Ducks section, which tends to be quieter.

Booking Strategy

  • Request a room in the Toy Story or Fantasia buildings if you want to be closest to the main pool and food court.
  • Because there's no table-service dining on property, plan to eat at other resorts or parks for a sit-down meal.
  • Compared to All-Star Music, Movies skews slightly more popular with families of younger kids drawn to recognizable characters; Music's family suites are the better pick if you need more space.
  • Buses run directly to each of the four theme parks, but value-resort buses can be crowded at rope-drop — arrive at the bus stop with buffer time.
