Disney's Beach Club Resort
The Resort Overview
Disney's Beach Club Resort is a Deluxe hotel styled after a genteel New England beach cottage from the turn of the 20th century, sharing the Crescent Lake waterfront with its sister Yacht Club. Pale blue-and-white clapboard exteriors and nautical detailing set a breezy, seaside-cottage tone that's more relaxed than the adjacent Yacht Club's yacht-club formality.
The resort's crown jewel is Stormalong Bay, an elaborate sand-bottom aquatic playground built to look like a shipwrecked pirate galleon ran aground into a lagoon — effectively a private water park exclusive to Beach Club, Yacht Club, and Swan/Dolphin guests.
Dining & Amenities
Cape May Cafe offers a character breakfast and a New England-style seafood buffet dinner. Beaches & Cream Soda Shop, tucked behind Stormalong Bay, is a beloved old-fashioned soda fountain serving burgers and famously oversized sundaes — a near-mandatory reservation for many repeat guests.
Stormalong Bay is the headline amenity: a three-acre pool with a lazy river, whirlpool spas, and a 230-foot water slide, accessible only via wristband to Beach Club, Yacht Club, and Swan/Dolphin guests. The resort also offers a full-service spa and direct boat/walking access to EPCOT.

Booking Strategy
- "Standard View" rooms can still be a short walk from Stormalong Bay; "Water View" rooms overlook the pool or Crescent Lake but cost more.
- One of the best-located resorts for EPCOT (walkable) and Food & Wine Festival visits.
- A strong fit for families prioritizing pool time and EPCOT access; less ideal for quick access to Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom (bus-only for those parks).
- Stormalong Bay periodically closes for refurbishment — check current status before booking if the pool is the main draw.
