Disney's Beach Club Villas

The Resort Overview

Disney's Beach Club Villas opened in 2002 as the fourth Disney Vacation Club property at Walt Disney World, sharing its weathered-shingle, New England beach-cottage architecture with the adjoining Beach Club Resort. The villas sit right on Crescent Lake, a short walk from EPCOT's International Gateway.

The villas feel like an extension of a classic seaside cottage community, with clapboard siding, white trim, and croquet-lawn landscaping that leans into old Cape Cod charm.

Dining & Amenities

Guests share full dining access with the Beach Club and Yacht Club resorts, including Cape May Cafe, a buffet known for its character breakfast, and Beaches & Cream Soda Shop, a retro diner famous for oversized ice cream sundaes.

The headline amenity is Stormalong Bay, the roughly three-acre shared pool complex with a sandy-bottomed zero-entry pool, a lazy river, whirlpool spas, and a shipwreck-themed slide — routinely ranked as one of the best pools at Walt Disney World.

Booking Strategy

  • Because Stormalong Bay is the draw, request a room or villa close to the pool entrance if that convenience matters to you.
  • Book Beach Club Villas specifically if you want a DVC studio or 1-bedroom with a kitchenette, since standard Beach Club Resort rooms don't have one.
  • It's a great fit for EPCOT and Hollywood Studios-focused trips and Food & Wine Festival visits; skip it if you want quick access to Magic Kingdom.
  • Stormalong Bay can get crowded on hot afternoons, so early morning or evening swims are the best way to enjoy it without the crowds.
