The Resort Overview
Disney's Pop Century Resort is a Value-tier hotel themed decade-by-decade to 20th-century American pop culture, from the 1950s through the 1990s. Each guest-room building is dedicated to a specific decade and decorated with oversized icons of the era — giant Big Wheel tricycles, Rubik's Cubes, and 8-track tapes tower several stories over the pool and courtyard areas.
The resort's hub, Classic Hall, houses check-in, shopping, and the food court, with a large lake separating Pop Century from its sister Value resort, Disney's Art of Animation, across the water. Guest rooms are more compact than at Moderate or Deluxe resorts, but the oversized decade-themed icons make the property feel distinctive.
Dining & Amenities
Everything Pop Shopping and Dining is the resort's single quick-service food court, with multiple stations spanning pizza, grill items, bakery goods, and a market/grab-and-go section — there is no table-service restaurant on property.
Recreation centers on three pools — Hippy Dippy, Bowling, and Computer — along with a walking path around Hourglass Lake shared with Art of Animation. The Skyliner connection significantly upgrades its transportation profile relative to other Value resorts.

Booking Strategy
- Request a room in the 1960s or 1970s buildings for proximity to Hippy Dippy Pool and Classic Hall, or a Preferred Room category for a shorter overall walk.
- The Skyliner connection makes this one of the better Value-resort choices for EPCOT/Hollywood Studios-focused trips.
- Good fit for budget-conscious families who like bold, whimsical theming and don't need a table-service restaurant on-site.
- Rooms are noticeably smaller than at Moderate or Deluxe resorts — worth checking square footage if traveling with more than 2 adults per room.
