The Resort Overview
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa opened in 2004, themed after the historic 19th-century spa town of Saratoga Springs, New York, with Victorian-era architecture and equestrian motifs spread across five villages.
Its standout feature is proximity: Saratoga Springs is the only Walt Disney World resort offering both a walking path and boat service directly to Disney Springs, with the Congress Park section just a five-minute stroll from the Marketplace entrance.
Dining & Amenities
The Turf Club Bar & Grill is the resort's table-service restaurant, serving classic American fare in a horse-racing-themed setting. The Artist's Palette is a market-style quick-service spot with hot and cold meals and grocery items.
The resort has five pools, including the larger Paddock Pool with a waterslide, plus Senses Spa, one of only two full-service spas at Walt Disney World.

Booking Strategy
- Book a room in the Congress Park section specifically if walking to Disney Springs matters to you.
- The resort is large and spread across five separate villages, so check which section your room is in relative to the pool and dining you want to use most.
- It's a strong fit for guests who want quiet, elegant surroundings and easy Disney Springs access without heavy theming.
- Compared to Old Key West, Saratoga Springs villas run slightly smaller but the resort is newer and closer to Disney Springs on foot.
