Walt Disney World Swan Reserve

The Resort Overview

Important distinction: the Swan Reserve, like the Swan and Dolphin, is a Marriott-operated hotel on Disney property, not a Disney-owned resort. It opened in 2021 as the newest of the three EPCOT-area Swan/Dolphin family hotels, breaking from Michael Graves' colorful postmodern style with a sleek, minimalist white-and-glass tower geared toward business and convention travelers.

With around 349 rooms including many suites and its own dedicated meeting space, the Swan Reserve feels more like a boutique business hotel, though leisure guests get the same walking/boat access to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios as the Swan and Dolphin.

Dining & Amenities

Amare, the resort's signature restaurant, serves Mediterranean-inspired seafood, pasta, and pitas alongside an extensive wine list. Guests can easily walk to the wider restaurant lineup at the Swan and Dolphin.

The Swan Reserve has its own smaller rooftop-deck pool, quieter than the main complex, and guests also have full access to the shared three-acre Grotto Pool at the Swan and Dolphin a short walk away.

Booking Strategy

  • If you want a quieter, more business-hotel atmosphere without giving up Disney park access, the Swan Reserve is worth a look — but know its own pool is small; the real pool experience is a short walk away.
  • As a newer Marriott property, it books with Bonvoy points and doesn't automatically include Disney-specific perks — verify current benefits before booking.
  • Compared to the Swan and Dolphin, the Swan Reserve is the better fit for travelers who want modern, minimalist design and a calmer lobby.
  • Bus service runs to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Disney Springs, but EPCOT and Hollywood Studios are walk/boat-only.
