Universal Terra Luna Resort
The Hotel Overview
Universal Terra Luna Resort opened March 25, 2025, as the second of Epic Universe's two new Prime Value hotels, sharing a broad space-and-planetary design language with Stella Nova but rendered in a distinctly different palette. Where Stella Nova leans blue and violet, Terra Luna's lobby and public spaces favor earth tones — wood, stone, sod-like textures, and warm greens, browns, and golds — paired with rounded architectural edges and circular light fixtures inspired by planetary forms.
Terra Luna is often considered the slightly more grown-up of the two Epic Universe hotels, with several guests noting it makes a better fit for couples and older families since its pool area skips the splash pad found at Stella Nova in favor of a more relaxed, adult-friendly hangout.
Dining & Amenities
Omega Café and Market functions as the resort's central dining hub, covering breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a food-court style setting. Poolside guests can order from Moonrise Grill and Moonrise Bar, while the lobby's Luna Bar offers a more intimate spot for evening cocktails.
The pool deck mirrors Stella Nova's in scale — a roughly 10,000-square-foot pool with a hot tub and fire pit — but leans more toward lounging than kid-focused play, with plenty of loungers and shade for guests looking to unwind after a day in the parks.

Booking Strategy
- If you're traveling without young children, Terra Luna's quieter pool scene and earth-toned, grown-up design generally edge out Stella Nova.
- Terra Luna's walking path to Epic Universe is a bit less direct than Stella Nova's, requiring guests to cross a busier intersection — factor in a few extra minutes if walking is your plan.
- Rooms are nearly identical between the two hotels, so the choice mostly comes down to pool vibe (family-splash-pad vs. adult-lounge) and which building's view of Epic Universe you prefer.
- Like Stella Nova, reaching Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, or Volcano Bay means a shuttle ride — Volcano Bay's dedicated bus can run less frequently than the CityWalk route, so check the schedule at the front desk.
